Gaby Pilson

Gaby Pilson

Gaby works professionally in the outdoors as a mountain guide and outdoor educator. She has a passion for all things adventure-related and can be found hiking, climbing, skiing, sailing, or paddling in her free time.

These days, most of her work takes her to the polar regions, where she enjoys introducing others to the wonderful landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctic. Gaby has a fondness for glaciers, meteorology, and penguins, as well as wildlife photography, which she loves to share with guests on these polar expeditions.

Outside of polar guiding, Gaby works as a wilderness medicine instructor and is an AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor Course Provider. She also has a master’s degree in outdoor education from the University of Edinburgh and works as an instructor for a number of outdoor and environmental education programs.

When not in the mountains or on the water, you can find Gaby drinking dark coffee, taking photos, and reading philosophy as she travels the world.
